The name's Steph and I will be your narrator during this exciting, crazy and scary journey you and I are about to take. You see, despite the housing market being in the dumps and the job market not doing much better, I decided to chase my dream. I accepted a job offer. In Chicago. This might not seem like a huge deal but when you factor in home ownership, marriage, dogs and some interesting family members, and well, the story gets a bit more interesting.

So join me as the husband and I try to sell our house, wrangle up the pooches and move three states west. In the meantime, my snowboots and I will be out and about discovering the marvelous metropolis known as Chicago.
